Mary Lynn Hanna currently serves as Senior Vice President, Fiduciary Analyst in the Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) Client Services Group, where she works with GreatBanc Trust Company’s General Counsel on legal and compliance issues relating to ESOP transactions and with the Sales Team assisting in the review and management of ESOP Transactions and client relationships.
Ms. Hanna joined GreatBanc in 2019. Beginning her career managing the legal aspects ofESOPs and other employee benefit plans in 1996, she is experienced in retirement plan compliance, reporting and vendor management. She has also drafted and amended plan materials. Previous to joining GreatBanc, Ms. Hanna’s positions included serving as Senior Counsel for Kimberly-Clark Corporation, and Of Counsel for Jackson Walker L.L.P.
Ms. Hanna earned a bachelor of science degree, accounting, from Texas Christian University, a juris doctor, law, from the University of Tulsa College of Law and a master of laws in taxation from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Ms. Hanna is a member of the State Bar of Texas, and the Dallas Bar Association, where she has served as Treasurer, then Vice Chair, and then Chair of the Employee Benefits Section. Ms. Hanna is a member of the ESOP Association and the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO).
