Mary Lynn Hanna

Mary Lynn Hanna currently serves as Senior Vice President and Fiduciary Analyst in GreatBanc’s ESOP Client Services Group. She specializes in compliance and legal review of ESOP transaction management.

Ms. Hanna joined GreatBanc in 2019. She has nearly 30 years of experience managing the legal aspects of ESOPs and other employee benefit plans. Ms. Hanna has extensive  experience in retirement plan compliance, reporting, and vendor management. She has also drafted and amended plan materials. Before joining GreatBanc, Ms. Hanna’s positions included serving as Senior Counsel for Kimberly-Clark Corporation, and Of Counsel for Jackson Walker L.L.P.

Ms. Hanna earned a Bachelor of Science (BS), accounting rom Texas Christian University, a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Tulsa College of Law, and a Master of Laws (LLM) in taxation from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.

Ms. Hanna is a member of the State Bar of Texas, and the Dallas Bar Association, where she has served as Treasurer, Vice Chair, and Chair of the Employee Benefits Section.

Ms. Hanna is a member of The ESOP Association (TEA) and the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO).
