Ms. Shrewsbury serves as a Senior Vice President on the GreatBanc Client Services team, focused on the administration of ESOP plans and transactions. She has spent the majority of her career in the retirement industry, bringing more than 30 years of experience to the role.
Prior to joining GreatBanc Trust Company in 2016, Ms. Shrewsbury spent most of her career in the 401k market. “My background in ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations for retirement plans has been crucial to helping clients and their participants get the most out of their ESOP.”
Outside the office, Mary Ann can often be found behind her drum set playing with her band. She’s a first generation American; both her parents are from Ireland. Mary Ann enjoys traveling there to visit family and exploring other countries in Europe including Italy, France, and Greece.
Ms. Shrewsbury is an active member of The ESOP Association and National Center for Employee Ownership. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
